#TopsideCares is a program to help local organizations tell their story! Each quarter we spread awareness for a specific organization & highlight how they make an impact. With your help, we'll match your donations up to $2,500.
This quarter, we are supporting the Love Thy Neighbor! We are matching donations for this organization up to $2,500 total until the end of September, 2023.
We're here to make an impact.
We believe in investing in our community by helping organizations associated with animal rights, housing, hunger management, and education initiatives. Each quarter we choose a community partner, raise funds for their cause, and match the donation up to $2,500! We also invest in our communities via sponsorships. If your organization applies to any of our community pillars described below, go ahead and submit a sponsorship request form.
Please note that we do not sponsor golf tournaments.

Pawsbie's Pals
In 2019 we rescued our Chief Barketing Officer, Sidney Pawsbie. Our area is full of great organizations that work tirelessly to save and protect our furry friends just like Sidney and it is our honor to support them.
Housing
Having a safe place to call home is a basic human need that, unfortunately, many struggle with. Homelessness and housing instability are a community problem and we are proud to do our part in helping to solve it.
Hunger
Food insecurity impacts every community in America, including our own. Our employees and members consistently raise money and donate supplies to fight this problem in our area and are always looking for new opportunities to do so.
Education

We proudly support our schools and educators and are honored to offer Financial Education of our own to our entire community.
Giving guidelines and eligibility
It's vital that your donation/sponsorship request aligns with our community pillars. While we'd love to support everyone, we're unable to fill every request we're sent. Requests must be from local organizations within the King George, Westmoreland, Caroline, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford areas. All requests should be made at least 30 days prior to the event or sponsorship deadline, and you can expect a response within 14 business days.

#TopsideCares about 516 Project
Thanks to our amazing members and community, we were able to donate $5,000 total to our friends over at 516 Project! We matched our members' donations up to $2,500 and they did not disappoint.
#TopsideCares about Fredericksburg SPCA
Thanks to our amazing members and community, we were able to donate $5,000 total to Pawsbie's Pals over at Fredericksburg SPCA! We matched our members' donations up to $2,500 and they did not disappoint.
DisAbility Resource Center Donation
Fitting in with our community pillar of education, we were able to raise a total of $1,412 for the DisAbility Resource Center. We also matched this donation up to $250!
Cereal Drive 2021
Fitting in with our community pillar of hunger, our generous staff donated a grand total of 1,200 boxes of cereal for King George Love Thy Neighbor.
Thanksgiving Drive 2021
We are committed to helping feeding the hungry in our community. Our staff were able to put together 20 complete Thanksgiving meals.
Love Thy Neighbor Donation
Thanks to everyone who came to our Shred Event, we were able to raise $907 for Love Thy Neighbor. We also matched this amount up to $250 for a grand total of $1,157 which will go to their efforts of combating hunger in our community.
Food Bank Donation 2020
Thanks to our top-notch staff, membership, and our friends at Gander RV & Outdoors (Thornburg), we were able to collect 644 pounds of food for the food bank.
Gladys P. Todd Academy Donation 2020
Thanks to all of our generous donations at our Shred Event and us matching those donations up to $250, we were able to donate $2,000 to Germanna's Gladys P. Todd Academy who's focus is representing minorities in the education system.
