Shred Event
Safely shred your personal documents.
Next Event:
Our next event date is on October 3, 2026. It will be held at our King George Branch from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
When you arrive at the branch, signage and employees will help direct you to the line. You will unload your items when it is your turn. Once your shredding is complete, you’ll be able to make a donation to support local financial education initiatives and we’ll match your donations up to $250 (no worries, this is optional).
To offer this service to as many community members as possible, there is a 4 bag/box limit per person of personal shredding only.

We hold two shred events per year!
Our spring event is held at our Massaponax Branch (9622 Patriot Highway, Fredericksburg VA 22407)
Our Fall event is held at our King George Branch (5472 James Madison Parkway, King George VA 22485).
