Membership Eligibility
Local, member-owned, federally insured — and easier to join than you think.
Benefits of Becoming a Member
Rooted in Your Community
Local branches, local decisions, and community support through Topside CAREs — from Dahlgren to Fredericksburg.
Member-Owned
You're an owner, not a customer. Our earnings go back to members through better rates and lower fees.
Federally Insured
Your deposits are insured by the NCUA up to $250,000 — the same protection banks offer through the FDIC.
We believe banking should be accessible. That's why we partner with more than 600 local employers, schools, churches, charities, and community organizations throughout our region. Many of our members qualify through one of these partnerships.
Don't see your employer or organization? You may also be eligible through one of our other membership options below, including becoming a Friend of a participating local library with a $10 donation.
